Some shipments do not present risk for the shipper on a warehouse to warehouse basis. Depending upon the selling term/incoterm, the shipper may only be required to provide insurance coverage from their warehouse to the airport of departure or the port of embarkation.
The risk of exposure is less for the insurance provider and as a result, we can offer our clients the advantages of an “all risk” coverage only on the portion of the journey that they are responsible for. This coverage allows our clients to only pay for the amount of coverage they need and still ensure that their goods and their liabilities are properly covered. We welcome the opportunity to discuss how this type of coverage is a time and cost savings option depending on the terms.
